Art for Autism is Easterseals Louisiana’s first-ever art exhibition of its kind to benefit our therapeutic arts program.
Join us on November 12, 2022, from 6 - 8 pm to view and celebrate Chartwell student artists’ original creations. All art on display is for donation-based sale.

Art at ESL Chartwell
Arts Integration is an integral part of programming at ESLCC and has distinct benefits for individuals with Autism. Along with regular music therapy, ESLCC hosts an artist-in-residence every semester. The artist-in-residence guides our students in creative endeavors tailored to their abilities and centered around the visual arts. For some students, music therapy and art teach fine motor skills and imitation and serve as an appropriate outlet for their sensory needs. For others, it is an emotional outlet and way to communicate. For most students, it’s all of the above. Our goal is for each and every student to have the opportunity to explore their own creativity and experience the benefits of art.
